What's Happening At Atlas?
Growing Together at Atlas Elementary
As our students grow, so do we! Atlas will continue to expand one grade level at a time until our current fourth graders reach eighth grade, making us a PK-8 school by the 2028-29 school year.
Construction on the third and fourth floors of our building will begin shortly after Winter Recess, with minimal disruptions anticipated. These new spaces are designed to create a distinct middle school experience. The upper floors will feature separate reception areas, dedicated staff, and unique schedules, while before- and after-school care will remain available for all families.
The fourth floor will house a cafeteria with an in-house kitchen, providing a dedicated dining area for older students and a venue for family events. Middle schoolers will transition to departmentalized classes, gain access to lockers, and enjoy a variety of electives, sports, clubs, and performing arts programs.
While we don’t currently plan to expand to a high school, we’re committed to supporting our students as they transition to their next school. This includes guidance and assistance with charter, magnet, and private school applications.
